This is a very special project at a very topical time! For the very first time, the biggest and most popular contemporary Iraqi artists pay homage to their beloved homeland through new, popular and some never released songs. Featuring a new track from controversial project MESOPOTAMIX, a new version/remix by the one and only TRANSGLOBAL UNDERGROUND of the popular song “Baghdad (Kathura Al Hadeeth)” by the superstar Kadim Al Sahir, and many more songs featuring the crossover legend Ilham Al Madfai, the promising rising star Rida Al Abdallah, the classic Sadoun Gaber, the ethnic Sons of Mesopotamia, the poetic hero Kareem Al Iraqi, & the Oud fusion maestro Omar Bashir. Also as a BONUS, a live tribute to Baghdad is included by the legendary Arab Ambassador “Fairuz”.
